St. Joe's Hosts Bravo Breakfast

Seventeen students from our region of CDSBEO were honoured today as unsung heroes at the Board's Bravo Breakfast. The Board celebrated these students with their principals and parents. Pictured below is St. Joe's winner Ashley Bedard, her parents, and Principal John Cameron.

St. Joe's Wins Bishop Cup

St. Joe's defeated Holy Trinity 6-1 in the 6th Annual Bishop Cup. Both St. Joe's and Holy Trinity's students showed tremendous school spirit in cheering on their team.The game was truly an example of high schools sports at its finest.

FILL OUT YOUR GRAD RESUME ONLINE

You can now fill out your Grad Resume online, print it and then hand it in to your counsellor. Just go to sjssonline.com and go to the Grad Page. Then click on the GRAD RESUME ONLINE. Once you fill out the form, go to the top of the page and click on PRINT. The form will print out and then hand it in to your counsellor.

NOTE TO PARENTS
COURSE SELECTIONS ARE NOW TAKING PLACE

Students are now in the process of doing course selections for next year. Your child should bring home his/her course selection sheet for you to sign. All signed course selection sheets must be returned to the Guidance office by the March Break.

LITERACY TEST INFORMATION

The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test will be written by all Grade 10 students on March 29th. If you feel you need more help preparing for the test you can come out to Homework Club in room 125 on Wednesdays after school.

If you encounter any problems with your classes try out "ASK A TEACHER" a valuable resource provided by the Independent Learning Centre. The website offers FREE online tutoring and homework help for Grades 9-12. Chat rooms are available Sunday to Thursday from 5:30pm to 9:30 pm where you can connect live with certified Ontario teachers for one-on-one help. You can check out the website by clicking here.
